After 5 weeks of my new health plan I have now lost 16 lbs from my original weight. At present to reach my target BMI value I still need to loose 25 more. My present BMI is 25.9, which is still overweight.
Unfortunately I have not been exercising as much as I should, mostly due to the frigid winter conditions where I live. Over the next few weeks of winter I will need to find new ways of exercising that I enjoy and can do with pleasure or I will not follow through with my health plan for life.
Until recently I was walking outside and strength training in the garage. Any ideas for what to do in the winter that does not involve the gym? I detest going to the gym – I have tried it for several years and only ended up wasting a considerable amount of money.
I have only lost 2 lbs in the 4th week of my health plan.
Exercise-wise…
I have not been exercising as much as I should be, which that is a good sign in a twisted way (but bad practice on my part). This next week I must do at least two sessions of my workout plan to know I am going to succeed at this goal.
Food-wise…
This 4th week I have resorted to eating more processed/prepared foods due to my present time limits, which I am not proud. Going forward I do need to invest more time and effort into creating fresher meals and have more fresh ingredients available to me at home for my to prepare wraps, etc.
Over the last 3 weeks I have lost 10 lbs, by a combination of counting calories, creating healthier meals, exercising and not snacking (except with fruit). My habits have already started to change for the better, so I am happier. According to my BMI (Body Mass Index) I am still a little overweight, but much closer to being normal weight than I was when I started.
