My best ‘ninja’ story so far in my life is the following. My
sensei (nicest person who could destroy you with her bare hands
that you’ll ever meet…), decided to teach us a bit of stealth
(ie: ninja-ness) in class one day.
She set up a challenge for us. One student would sit blindfolded
at one end of the room and the rest of us would have to sneak up
on him. If the student reacted to any of the sounds, the
ninja’s turn was over and he had to sit back down.
Well, my turn came up. I slowly crept across the mats, doing my
best not to make a sound. I got right behind the blindfolded
student. Nobody else had made it that far, and he still hadn’t
heard me. In one quick motion, I undid his blindfold (and
claimed it for a trophy ;). Boy was that guy surprised…
So, what do you guys think? Is that ninja enough? :)
