What defines her? The quieter girl, the one who doesn’t stand out. The one built for internal struggles who bends before the external. Naive, pious, loyal, kind and something of an innocent but that isn’t actually clear at first if she’s pure at heart or just sheltered.

Remember the way you felt then. Like life and all it’s missteps and mishaps, practical jokes and kneeskapped guffaws had put a story inside you and if nothing else was accomplished in your years beyond letting that story out you would be a success.

The visits from other characters almost as a series of short stories. Final story is Mabel alone… Has not slept for days is terrified begins to hallucinate. Story a regression back to birth, final visits are from her parents.
