get my braces off

the results are awesome!

i got my braces off exactly 3 weeks ago and it is awesome. it’s definately worth doing and i would reccommend it to everyone if you need them.

just one more week :-D

well i got my impression for my retainer for my top teeth. i get my tops off two weeks from yesterday. i can’t wait, i’m really excited!

i thought that i shoudld describe the process of how they’re removed. The girl there just took plyer type things and just squeezed each bracket off. The bands were tougher. She had to kind of wiggle those off which was a little tight, but it was no biggie. Then she took a disc type sander and put it on a drill looking thing and it spun fast so she could sand the cement off of my teeth. She sanded and polished and she was finished. I needed a bonded retainer so my orhto came over and used floss to tie it to my teeth so it would be the right fit. She glued it on, cut off the floss and i had brand new teeth. :-D i smile like that now. i just can’t wait to get off my tops. :)

well i got the bottom ones off. my teeth look so straight. my top ones will come off at the end of april instead of the beginning. :( i just really wanted them to come off before prom, and they will so i’m still happy about that. On April 5th, i’m going in to get my impression for my retainer for the top. then they said they would put a rush on making it so i can have them off at the end of april to get them cleaned and whitened before prom. my boyfriend was so excited. i told everyone besides him. he was so shocked. i can’t believe i held out on the secret for a whole month. I’m hoping i can hold out this time too. it’s his senior prom and i want him it to be awesome for him and i’m so glad that my braces will be off before then!

well, today is the day that i have been waiting for the past three years!!! i’m excited. i haven’t really been thinking about it for the past few days because i’ve been so busy working and at school, but it’s finally here. i’ve got to leave school in half an hour. oh well i guess i have to miss english. what a drag. ;) well i’ll try to get an update in later on today with how my bottom teeth look. :D (<-hopefully i’ll have a smile like that)

this week has been going by so slow. It seems as if monday is never going to come. hopefully it will arrive soon. i already set up my dentist appointment to have my teeth cleaned in the beginning of april so that i can get them done a day or two after i get my top ones off. i can’t wait, 4 more days!

one more week until i get the bottom ones off! it’s going to be the longest week of my life. well probably not as long as the week before i get the top ones off.

13! the age I got them on. and the number of days left until i get the bottom ones off!! march is going to seem like the longest month ever, because i’m getting the top off in april! :-D big smile!
