Has anyone tried Yin Yoga? It’s a slow form of yoga where you hold poses for 3-5 minutes which stretches the connective tissue rather than just the muscle. It occurs to me that doing Yin Yoga is very meditative. It gives you a focus (the breathing, the stretch feeling) and helps your mind not to wander around too much. Sometimes when I do Yin Yoga I feel like I’m in a dreamlike state…

Fortunately and unfortunately, my meditation is linked to my yoga practice – I tend to try to meditate for a few minutes at the end of the session. However I’m not practising yoga as frequently as I would like at the moment, therefore I’m not meditating as much either! I will try to practise yoga when I come home from work tomrrow, and also meditate – this will contribute to two of my goals!
