Getting there 2 years ago

So I came out to my mother at the beginning of the month. She says it’s best not to come out in public yet. For the sake of my 9- and 14-year old brothers. And I agree with her. It would be hell for them, especially in this small town where news travels fast, especially so with Facebook.

So coming out in public is on hold till next year at least. But it will happen!

Reeeally lagging on this goal. My parents have both gone back to school part-time, so they are really busy and stressed all the time. I don’t want to give them another thing to deal with.

I’m comfortable in the closet. Everyone who’s important to me, other than my family, knows. But I would like to come out publicly before I leave high school. Otherwise .. it wouldn’t be right.
