I’m a bit bored of the gym and my yoga and pilates classes are great, but don’t really improve my cardio fitness. When I think back to my teens I absolutely loved sport and was in my school hockey, netball, tennis and volleyball teams.
Whilst I keep fairly fit, going to the gym, running and swimming is all a bit insular. I really like the idea of training with a playing as part of a team again. So … what to do?
I’m considering rowing … but not sure if I’ll get the team interaction I’m looking for. I’ll have a look around for what else is going on locally.
Any suggestions of sports to try are very welcome.
