Happy Autumn!
I bought “the age of steam” by Fred Digby for a person called, appropriately enough, August. God, I’m such a loser, I surpass myself, no really, I do!
Also sent a copy of the new Harry Potter to great ormond street children’s hospital.
Dear Ms Annaleigh,
your copy of Haruki Muramkami (one of my all time favourite authors): The Elephant Vanishes, awaits.
Enjoy!
Feeling very happy this month, so I bought Paul not one but two items from his list. Mostly because I think that anyone who puts a “design your own piggybank” item on their list is deserving of all our respect.
Enjoy June!

to say my May recipient had contacted them to try and find out who I was, but they were unable to give her any details due to privacy policy. I hope she just wanted to find my address so she could thank me or something, and not that she’s worried in case someone’s stalking her :/ It had never occured to me that this goal might make people feel uneasy, but I suppose it might, depending on your history :/ :/
This is my first CD purchase and I’m very excited. “Freddy Kempf: Chopin” is on its way to Charlotte in Berkshire, because I love Chopin too. Enjoy!
Geraldine in Norwich, I hope you’ve filled out your delivery address correctly because there’s a copy of The 6th Target (Womens Murder Club 6) on its way :)
just got a message from Amazon to say that my April purchase has been refunded to me since the address given on the wishlist turned out to be “undeliverable”, whatever that means.
For heaven’s sake people, are you incapable of even writing your own addresses out correctly?
Right, I’m off to Amazon again to find someone who actually knows where they live.
*I think this post may be contrary to goal number 10, be less scathing. I am now trying to extend non-scathing thoughts out to him from the warmth of my warm and non-scathing bosom. Idiot.
Bertrand Mazeraud in London, stand by! A copy of Saiyuki: v. 5 (Japanese manga) is winging its way to you! :)
