I wrote a novel as part of the NaNoWriMo challenge of 2004. It was a goal of mine last year – if only I knew about 43 Things back then! Anyway, when I finished I decided that I thought it was a pretty good story. I got other people to read it, and they agreed, so I thought I’d follow the natural progression of things and look into getting it published.
