Mmm, live!spark at the Powerhouse. Except it shouldn’t really be called live!spark any more, seeing as it’s not in the spark bar any more. HOWEVER, the Gin Club has a maximum of eight people again. Ahh, I have missed you, Large Gin Club. Not quite ten people, but getting close. No Pirate Song, sadly, but plenty of new songs. I look forward to their next album. It had better come some time this year.

ANYWAY, SoB were freaking awesome and I’m glad I dragged myself out. Good work, boys. Come back to Brisbane soon.

Whoops! Sorry Pippin my darling, I forgot about adding you here. You certainly rocked my socks. IKEA RIOT remains etched in my memory.

AGAIN THE NIGHT AFTER? I know, I know. I regretted it too much going only one night last time they were up this way. And I’m glad I went last night! They threw about five different songs into the mix. Tim Freedman gave a little spiel about multiple night attendees, looking directly at me as he did so. IT WAS JOYOUS.

What an awesome night filled with awesome fun times. The Whitlams never fail to disappoint.

Great tag team of local artists on stage at the Columbian on Friday night. Missing the Club’s old sound a little… the stage seems so empty for them these days! Tim was splendid.

What can I say? The boys were back in town. Just as good, if not better, than the last time I saw them (as supports for SfK back in September)! Just cool. Just really cool. And all lovely boys.
