Get married....and STAY married

the N’s are now eagerly anticipating my assimilation into one-of-them i.e. Mrs. MN and its all gooood. :-)

This was a major point of concern for me because my family was swimming with questions and forming phone trees, while his didn’t yet know; now everything will be able to fall into place & we can have our perfect day.

We announced our engagement and planned January 16th wedding date with my family and a couple of our closest friends, just need to tell his family this weekend than it will be “official”!

Knowing more and more about what we really want makes planning the wedding easier.
Like when my potential-MH couldn’t make one date, it made me realize just how much she means to me and that she would definitely have to be my MH because I can’t picture it w/ out her and I know she will be perfect.
and the date that we’ve settled on makes both of us feel great, my fiance was struggling with planning while we were so vague with the timing but now that we are both more and more confident more things are falling into place and it feels the best decision we could make.

The check list is seemingly never ready to be fully crossed off, so I’m months behind and we don’t even know our definite date yet!

We were waiting to announce our engagement to our family until his sibling had their first baby this fall, and are waiting until after we tell them to tell our friends.

Now that he is an uncle and everyone is asking when we’re going to have a baby and give them a little cousin to play with, we really need to plan on the announcement…But my MH (or at least the person I really hope to ask to be MH)just told me she is going to be unavailable the month we were planning on getting married next year. If we don’t do it then it will be a completely different event than I’ve been planning as It’ll be six months later, a different season and with all new details to plan out.
