go to the beach

Its soo worth going to the beach, its only a 45 minute drive for me and my dog just had a ball every time.
We had a lovely time at the Secret Beach on Sunday in 70 degree weather in January, we had a picnic after a long hike and really a lot of doggie fun. S, E, J, A, and I. We didn’t even mention the wedding, which was nice too. :)

When I was a child I went to the ocean every single day until age 5 when I started school, then I went on the weekends and only during the week if the tide came very early in the morning and I could get back to class by 8.
My 1st birthday was celebrated on the coast, my cake was decorated with surfboards.
I had sand in every pair of shoes I owned.
I was a beach child.

I grew up, moved on.

Now I still live under an hour from the coast but don’t take advantage nearly enough.
The puppy LOVED the beach last weekend, so we need to commit to going at least once a month, if not every clear weekend.
