clean out the garage

Needed to clean up the craft area so that the adult crafts and the crafts for my nephew, who will be spending the days with me soon, are ready and available. It is amazing the stuff that I found, the amount of art supplies I have left over from Michael’s grade school days, and the projects started that have not been completed. That all ends now.

Maybe now I can get creative and start an Etsy shop someday!

Going to work on the craft area of my garage because my husband is not excited about it today and so cannot clear his college and old work clutter (which is taking floor space that we need). So, going to do the minute tasks that need to be done when working on a crafting area. Was just going to get ready to toss the kids crafts when I offered to watch my sister’s 2 year old son during the week so I need to keep all but need it to be accessible and in an open area where we can create.

Well, I finally was able to force myself to finish the sports corner. That will make it easier to head out quick to a soccer game, baseball tryout or decide to go snowshoeing on a whim. And, there are even a few spaces where my nephew can find toys when he comes over to play.

I am going to head out to the garage in under thirty minutes.
I am going to force myself to stay there and make some progress.

I am going to freeze my ass off in the process, but what the hell.

Tell me that it is not logical to keep all those damn boxes when we don’t plan to move soon, if we move we will not search for the right box when packing and will probably have pros do it because my husband will not get involved and I refuse to pack the house myself.
