My policy expires at midnight tonight, and I just now paid it online. Not sure if I should celebrate that I made the deadline, or acknowledge that it’s only because of technology that I made it. I really have to make this more of a priority, since I always cut things way too close for comfort.

It amazes me how long this has been on my list, but never at the top of the things I want to do. Six years and counting, and I still choose tomorrow as my starting date for any project that I say is important to me. How am I going to build the life I want if everything meaningful takes a back seat to exterior circumstances that I don’t choose? I will continue this thought later, but right now I have to go shopping for a baby shower present that I don’t even want to attend. Such is life.
