since I last recorded my progress...

It’s been two steps forward and one step back, with the ultimate outcome being another 4 pounds gone and an overall loss of 26 lbs since my last recorded high point. For the first time in a while, I have a goal, rather than just making lifestyle changes that will encourage weight loss. I’d like to loose about 20 lbs by April. To do this, I’ll have to make actual diet noises, so I’m viewing this as a short term attempt to speed things up for my own encouragement.

Slowly but surely

My weight loss has been slow; I’m now down about 22 from my high point, but still have another 25 to go before I’ll feel comfortable and a considerable amount more before my physician will shut up.

I’ve changed my eating radically (have switched to a strict piscetarian diet—no land animal products, period.) and am actually very happy with that, but I’m having a harder time regaining some healthy habits for a variety of reasons I won’t whine about here.

Still working towards this, just not very fast.

Just for my own record, I am working on that next 20 now. :-)

Today

I was surprised to find that I’m down 16 lbs. Yay! 4 more to go, then I can start working on the next 20!

XXX-1. It’s not XXX-3, but it’s a start. Hoorah.

On the road again

Sore from exercising yesterday. But that’s good news! 1 down 20 to go.

Setbacks!

Unfortunately, I was doing well on making progress with this until I once again shifted into high gear with the constant small injurioes and illnesses, so any progress I have made has been lost. I have to start over. Fargh.

If I try to write a bit about it here 3-4 times a week, I hope that this will help me get back on track for starting over.

So today, I weigh XXX. By this time next week, I hope to be XXX-3.

Small steps.

Am now 7 pounds down from January weight. DOing my best, can’t exercise too much, as I am still on movement restrictions from a December injury. But small steps are better than no steps.

Maybe.

Michael looked at me today. He looked puzzled. “Have you lost weight?” he asked.

Maybe. I haven’t been weighing myself.

I have reduced my dependance on craptastic foods and have been regular about taking my sythroid since seeing “Super Size Me.” Man, that’s some scary stuff. It’s practically inevitable that these changes would have an effect on my weight. I just didn’t think it would be noticable!
