have my poetry published

I am really angry at the moment about this subject. Basically, for my school’s annual poetry competition I won for my year (at the time year 11) and I didn’t get a prize because they decided to combine year 10 and 11 together, even though no one else in school were combined, so a year 10 girl won over mine, because she did hers in french. Anyway, my annual school magazine was sent out last week and all of the winners of the poetry competition had their poems printed in the magazine. But I didn’t because the year 10’s and 11’s were together and that girl won over me. Arghh =\ It’s frustrating!

There was a poetry compotition last month, so I entered.. I was short listed but I didn’t get much further. What I meant by gettin my poetry published I meant in a proper book, because in year 8 I had my poem published in the school magazine.. Still, I’m quite chuffed anyway!
