This is a great, relatively new, ongoing pleasure. 12 months ago

From cakes to pies, from stews to curries, cooking is a true artform.

For the Xmas dinner I cooked yesterday evening my first venison stew, complete with Bourgogne & Jack Daniel’s marinade (hey, I’m French, hence my God-given right to food pedantism).

And I’m happy to say it fucking rocked! :D

I only know a handful of recipes, such as coconut milk chicken soup or lamb curry, but when I start cooking I almost feel like a sorcerer of olds, mixing stuff and spices in a bubbling cauldron—exhilarating, really ^^
