World's Biggest Problems

Probably the best way to make a difference in the world is to begin tackling the world’s biggest problems. After searching the internet for listing of the world’s biggest problems I found this: http://www.WorldsBiggestProblems.com . It lists the following problems as the biggest:
- Economic Collapse
- Peak Oil
- Water Crisis
- Species Extinction
- Climate Change
In order to combat any of these problems I must first understand them. I believe the best way to understand the coming economic collapse is to read Empire of Debt: http://www.amazon.com/Empire-Debt-Rise-Financial-Crisis/dp/047198048X/
