Down from a high of $9k in credit card debt I was thisclose to $3k when I went on a bit of a binge ($1.2k). :-|. It happens… but I mustn’t wallow on my step back… gotta refocus! I made a new budget and have a money buddy (a friend and I are going to discuss our spending each week to keep one another in check and on budget).
I’m thinking of moving back to France at the end of the year so my goal is to get rid of my credit card debt by the end of the year.

I caved this weekend and did a bit of shopping. I’ve used extra income that I’ve had over the past month to pay off a large amount of my debt but I just undid some of that. Boo me (although I will say I got some awesome hot pink heals and other clothes) Now… to make sure I’m focused… because I do still have an itch to get a new camera since mine is basically broken (works but no screen).

So I’ve gotten two of my credit cards paid off but there’s one more left. The big kahuna. Just over $4k (down from almost $9k last fall). Once that’s gone the rest is bearable. Then comes the hard part – making sure I keep my credit card debt at zero.
Credit cards = $4k (3 months to payoff)
Car = $34k (5 years to payoff at min)
Student loans = $67k (18 years to payoff at min)
total current debt = $105
