compliment somebody different every day for a month

I did this a couple of years ago and remember really enjoying it. I’ve had conversations recently with friends about accepting and giving compliments – people struggle with both, and I get that. I can’t always make people take them, but at least I can give them, right?

Definately worth doing. It was such a delight to make people a little happier, and it actually made me calmer. :) Double bonus.

Boxing day, the 26th and the 27th. Oh my. I absolutely cannot remember what I did on these days. Boxing day my sister and her boyfriend came over for food. I think. The day after we all went to hers where I complimented her boyfriends aunt on her knitting, and the day after that I think I just slept. Oops.

I’ve been trying hard to keep up with this goal but I haven’t seen very many people in the past few days so it’s been a little hard to acomplish. I’ve done very well overall tho, so I’m not going to beat myself up about it too much :)

Today I complimented Martin, saying that I liked it when he was at work because it made it more fun :) and that’s it. goal completed!

Christmas Day. I wrote on my uncles gift tag “you are an inspiration”, and I think he was pleased. We don’t always get on, but he’s incredibly clever and determined, so I thought it’d be nice to let him know that I do care, once in a while. heh.

Today I complimented Tessa, Kate and Kat all in one sitting, heh. Kate on her bracelet, Tessa on her top and Kat on her necklace. It was so lovely to catch up with the girls again, I’ve really missed the being around.

Tonight I complimented Amy (again) and Jeff. Christmas cheer everyone!
