I’m doing a swap with someone on flickr, one ball of big wool for them, two balls of philar neige for me :) My mum wants the neige to make into a scarf, so that’s another few balls cleared out.
The weekend after next is car boot time so we’ll see how much I can get rid of there!

Phildar Neige. My love. You’ve sat in my stash since September but it’s time for you to become a scarf and wing your way across the water to America.
Be well!

I took back some yarn I’d bought yesterday because I was never going to use it, and exchanged it for something I will :) Excellent.
The rowan polar stash is growing and disappating in equal measures (man I love that stuff), and I managed to use up some bits and pieces making a rainbow scarf. I’ve also got a commission for a cushion cover which should use up a few balls of my phildar neige :)

I’m using my lone ball of white polar to make cushions with, since it’s so beautifully soft. I’d love to make another shrug out of it but there just isn’t enough so cushions it is. Getting there!

I’m finally getting around to knitting a scarf out of the Patons Glitz I got on sale about 4 months ago. It’s vile stuff to knit with (the acrylic ‘glitz’ scratches my hands), but it feels lovely and soft on, bizarely!
I have two more balls of it but I think I’ll combine them with something else to make it less hard to work with.

Over the weekend I knitted about 7 scarves. Score, hehe. Some of them are commissioned, but most of them will be going into the shop, so watch this space!

i buy a lot of wool from colinette but it doesn’t stay in my stash long because it’s so pretty and easy to knit with.
In the last few days I’ve knit up two lovely skeins into scarves :)

Are being turned into a multicoloured striped shawl. It’s on 15mm needles so it’s knitting up quick quickly, which is nice.
I had a ball of rowan big wool that was the wrong colour so i made it into a pair of armwarmers. Snuggly warm!
I’m getting a few more orders here and there so I don’t feel bad for buying new wool. Hehe.

My mother bought me home two balls of phildar neige from her recent holiday to france, in a wonderful pale green colour. It’s now become a wonderfully warm and fluffy skinny scarf, to compliment my brown coat :)
I’m also planning to use my scraps of rowan big wool to make a striped, ribbed hat. horrah!
EDIT: i did both of these tonight. 3 balls of yarn down :)
