Go to graduate school

Just received word last night that I’ve been accepted to Seattle University. So I went out and over-celebrated with a good friend of mine, and when I woke up my head felt like somebody was jackhammering on it. Oh well, it was worth it.

I’m looking forward to furthering my education and moving to a new city. This is awesome.

Just got word a few days ago that my last LOR made it to the graduate admissions office. A decision should be in my mailbox this week.

I asked an associate of mine to write a letter of recommendation and he agreed, and promised to send it out this week. That will mark the final item on my graduate school checklist, and I was told by the admission office that a decision is handed out soon once all your materials make it in. I can’t wait…Now I just cross my fingers…

Deadline is Nov. 27th, so I have some time. But I just want this off my mind so I can prepare for the cross-country move to Seattle.

I had my letters shipped to the department office instead of the admission office. My mistake, but it’s cost me a few weeks in terms of the university processing my application. It’s frustrating, because I’m so close and yet there’s still such a wait. Ugh.
