learn to ski at the intermediate level

Skiing in Southern CA can mean slushy or icy snow and for a beginner like myself it just seemed like a really dumb idea to move up to the intermediate slope that day. There are actually two different levels of intermediate…low and high. I AM skiing the lower level intermediate but I also know that my intention for this goal was to ski the higher level.

We may have plans to go to Brianhead this winter. We’ll see.

I’m so excited!

Two years ago, Kevin decided that we needed to go to Big Bear and rent a cabin and go skiing for Valentine’s Day. It was one of the best trips I’ve ever taken. You can read more about it and see pictures here. Suffice to say that skiing+jacuzzi=FUN.

We were supposed to make it an annual trip however my dad discovered that he had bladder cancer this year and had major surgery right around Valentine’s Day. Unless something comes up this year I can bet we’ll be there again. And I am going to be skiing those intermediate slopes in no time.
