-brush, floss, and skin care every night-doing OK
-drink more water-going great
-work breaks-about 70%
-get a good haircut and start accepting my hair for what it is! DONE
-take vitamins-have been good about this
STILL NEEDS IMPROVEMENT:
-drink less alcohol
-yoga and exercise 5x/week
-relax more often and be gentle with myself
-make sure I have healthy snacks on hand to fight stress eating
-Try those vitamin energy shots instead of Red Bull
-Bring in my heating wrap for neck pain
Right after I make deadline: go to the chiropractor.

OK, so during March I will try the following strategies to maintain my health (mental and physical) during higher stress times:
-make sure I have healthy snacks on hand to fight stress eating
-Try those vitamin energy shots instead of Red Bull
-Still take breaks!!!!
-Make a point to exercise in the evening, even if I worked late, just some yoga or something
-Bring in my heating wrap for neck pain
Right after I make deadline: go to the chiropractor.
I think I can do that.

Weight gain
I have put on weight, when really I need to lose about 10-15 lbs. I know most people on this goal are going to tell me to love myself unconditionally or something but the fact is, I feel comfortable when I’m just a bit less squishy. Nothing major, but I don’t like this and I need to get back into an exercise routine. Not only for vanity’s sake, it also reduced my stress level, releases happiness chemicals and helps me sleep better. So basically I need to stop being such a lump if I want to make progress on this goal.

I’ve made peace with my hair. Mostly. And I’m taking vitamins, almost every day. I haven’t done any of the other things on my list. I think next I’ll concentrate on taking work breaks, EVEN ON DEADLINE DAYS!!

There are things I LOVE about my body. I love that it’s a female body. I love that I’m quite healthy. I love that I am able-bodied; I can walk, do sports, hike up a mountain, and so on. I love the way it looks, mostly… save for some VERY unsightly cellulite which even I have to admit looks kind of gross… beauty standards aside, it doesn’t look healthy to me.
I don’t love that I still have Bell’s Palsy residuals. I don’t love that my teeth are somewhat weak and prone to decay, breaks, etc. I don’t love how thin my hair is that I can hardly do anything with it.
And I don’t TREAT my body with love. I’m really quite hard on it. I drink coffee, alcohol. I go long stretches without exercising enough. I don’t stretch adequately at work so my shoulders get tense. I forget to put on lotion or chapstick. At least I remember sunscreen. I pick at my skin, I pull at my hair. I forget to floss.
I need to treat my body better; I am sure it will improve how I feel about it, and how it functions and looks.
So I think I need to…
-brush, floss, and skin care every night
-drink more water
-drink less alcohol
-yoga and exercise 5x/week
-work breaks
-take vitamins
-get a good haircut and start accepting my hair for what it is!
-relax more often and be gentle with myself
