Major Update 7 months ago

I think it is safe to say that I am in need of a major update. It’s been forever since I have written anything on this. Let’s just start from the beginning shall we?

Goal One: Lose enough weight to be 120 pounds and not go over 135- While I don’t think I have lost weight (or at the very least, not a lot of it), I am going to the gym more. I even have a little book to write down when I exercise!

Goal Five: Purchase (or decide not to buy) books and movies from list- Working on this one. Every Monday before I get paid, I am going to choose 2 books and one movie to buy on Wednesday (that way I don’t have to worry about shipping over the weekend. I have 89 books and 132 movies. The problem with movies is that they are so much more expensive than books. But I tend to add more books to my list in a given month than I do movies. So I guess it balances out.

Goal Eight- Do 365 pictures- Always working on this. But I ran out of room on my flicker account and am putting off upgrading. Maybe this week or in 2 when I get paid again.

Goal Ten- Get a new phone in July for my upgrade (and again in 2011)- While it’s obviously not July, I did have to get a new phone. My old one broke and they let me upgrade early! So yay for that.

Goal Twelve- Stay on top of getting pictures printed off- Have not worked on this, but I am in the middle of figuring out which ones I need to get printed off. Especially hard for my Beauty album (mainly nature) and my pets albums.

Goal Nineteen-Stop drinking pop- I am happy to say that expect for drinks like Rum and Coke and Triple Sec and Sunkist (very good; try it!) at birthday parties, and for trying the pop at work (to see if it tastes right- I work in fast food) I have been pop free since January 25h.

Goal Twenty Two-Try 10 New Recipes and add to book (with pictures-goal Twenty One)- I have printed off more than 10 New Recipes, but I haven’t tried them yet.

Goal Twenty Seven- Purge stuffed animals, but keep some for my kids- I have given away 2 or 3 stuffed animals. Granted it was to my dog.

Goal Twenty-Nine- Review 15 books on librarything.com- I think I’ve reviewed a few more books. Since starting the list, I have reviewed 2 books I didn’t have too.

Goal 36-Perm my hair-Completed for my birthday!

Goals 41 to 43-I have finished all of these goals: Eat at Red Lobster for my friends birthday(3/12/09), Eat at Cheesecake Factory for my birthday(2-16-09) Eat at Chipotle(3-17-09)

Goal 47- Catalog movies- I have searched and searched for a place to catalog movies, but I have yet to find a good one. Does anyone know of anything?

Goal 61- 50 book challenge- I have started this, just last month. I have finished 8 books and have started my 9th one.

Goal 69-Buy iPod speakers- Done! For my birthday.

Goal 73-Make a new list-Working on it. I think I’m up to 50 or so new goals.

81-Buy new glass for broken Audrey Hepburn picture- I just bought a whole new frame.

Goal 94- Make real hot chocolate once a month from October to Feb- Done for this round!

I just bought a sketchbook from Amazon. I’ve also purchased some books via a Barnes and Noble sale.

I’ve made hot chocolate this week.

I plan on getting my hair permed for my birthday.

For an early birthday gift, my friend Alex gave me a $25 gift card to The Cheesecake Factory! So, that’s where I’ll be going for my birthday dinner!

I’ve given up pop (along with my manager).

that I have completed something on here without even knowing it.

In regards to my hospital bill goal I got a letter in the mail saying that the hospital is covering my bill (~ $7000 total) because I don’t make enough money.

But then the other day I got a bill for $100, for an out-patient thing I had done.

So either way, it’s either done or thisclose to being done.



My list: 11 months ago

Finish college

Get my license

Purchase (or decide not to purchase) books and movies from my list I keep a running list of movies/books I want to buy. I counted it last night and I’m at 92 books and 142 movies

Get a tattoo (once I lose weight)

Either get my ears pierced again OR once I lose weight have my belly button pierced

Do the 365 pictures challenge

Work out for 30 minutes a day, 3 days a week for 2 months

Obtain a new phone in July of 2009 and then one is July 2011

Send a postcard to Postsecret once a year

Stay on top of getting my pictures printed off and put them away

Get my puzzles framed, plus 2 posters

Buy a new Audrey Hepburn poster

Write a novel

Clean out my closet

Donate money to Animal Shelter

Volunteer on a regular basis (in person)

Stop drinking pop

Donate old clothes

Finish my recipe book, complete with pictures

Try 10 new recipes and add to said book
