I got my bike out of the shed this last week and inflated the tires. Today I biked on errands, stopping to see Jimbo at work and at the Food Co-op for peaches and lettuce.
Jim and I have walked quite a lot in the last few days. We took several 3 or 4 miles walks over the weekend. Tonight, instead of crashing after dinner, we strolled downtown, pushing our walk a little further, and then a little more, until we got caught in a sudden downpour a mile from home. We dashed from awning to awning for a couple blocks, waiting, then darting out again, pausing in a couple bookstores. We rewarded ourselves for our troubles with a quick pint at our favorite brewpub.

It’s been a rough winter so I can’t say I’ve made marked progress with this goal.
However, I’ve started taking vitamins regularly so that counts for something. I’ve been trying to pay attention to stress and do things, like walking, that help me relax.
I need to make this more of a priority when the air clears.

I’m fairly good at making sure I get enough sleep.
Things I need to work on include: getting regular cardio exercise, begin strength training again, becoming more aware of what I eat, eating enough variety to meet all my nutritional needs.
