Travel to other countries

I visited Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Albania. Great time!! That makes 21 countries that I’ve been to.

Sent out the payment today. Going on the trip in February.

Great Trip!

Went to Warsaw and Krakow.

Warsaw was great. The Old and New town districts were beautiful with many old churches. There’s also quite a lot of Jewish WWII sites.

But the jewel of Poland is Krakow. It has a HUGE market square (a perfect place to shop, people watch or grab some food or a beer). There’s also the Wawel Royal Castle and many, many churches.

I also went on three day trips. The first was Auschwitz, the Nazi concentration camp. It was a very moving experience. The second was Czestochowa which is the monastery that houses the Black Madonna. And the third was Wieliczka which is a 700 year old salt mine.

My can’t miss attractions in Poland are:
1. Auschwitx
2. Wieliczka Salt Mines
3. Czestochowa’s Black Madonna
4. Krakow’s Market Square

with Poland added.

I’m reserving hotel and airfare tickets for a Poland trip this spring! This will be country number 16.

Thinking about Scotland in the fall.

This past week I went to The Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg. That makes a total of 15 countries.
Next up is Poland in the spring.

Belgium, The Netherlands and Luxembourg.

USA, Canada, Iceland, Italy, France, England, Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria, Germany, Vatican City and Ireland.

This does not includes airport layovers.
