& it’s starting to become detrimental to my social life. I really, REALLY need to stop saying this after almost every word. For things that aren’t my fault, for things I shouldn’t apologize for even if they WERE my fault, for things that would otherwise go completely unnoticed, for speaking my mind… every single time someone comments on something I do, or something I say… or even whenever someone does something nice to help me out… it’s just ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. And at this point it’s so ingrained in me that I hardly even notice it. But it’s definitely a sign of low self-esteem, and you know what? I have no reason to have low self-esteem. I may not be perfect or ideal, but I’m better than this. I need to project confidence, and I need to be UNAPOLOGETICALLY ME. So… I just need to pay more attention and consciously refrain from saying sorry unless it’s really needed. (which is almost never…)

seriously, it’s flippin’ ridiculous.
everyone notices it; my manager even calls me the “sorry little squeaky girl.” well, because, I squeak when I laugh and I laugh almost as much as I say sorry. Haha… good stuff…?
