enter the Creating Keepsakes 2007 Hall Of Fame Contest

I have given up on this goal. I will try next year but creativity, inspiration and such has escaped me. I will try to submit some work to some scrapbook magazine this year though.. perhaps a becky higgins sketch request.

something came up at work and I have no free time so I am going to try to do this this coming weekend (2/2) and have it sent out the 7th or 8th (I’ll overnight it)..

if for some reason I don’t make it then I will need to postpone this goal for next year and perhaps make a small goal of submitting my work to the magazine in another manner..

Ok didn’t get these things done got busy then had a pretty emotional weekend so I will be spending the next few days playing make-up but I will get caught up no problem.. I have confidence.

Ok my plan of action for the CK Hall of Fame..

The submissions are due February 10, 2007. I am going to do the following schedule to complete this challenge by February 1 (with a five day grace period accounting for any scrapper’s block)

January 19 – Go through and sort old photos. Including digital. See if there are any that inspire me to scrapbook.
January 20 – Photo shoot with the family. New pictures always give a creative inflow for scrapbooking. I will take my family places to get these pictures
January 21 – Choose what “assignments” I am going to do, and choose photos for the layouts.
~As the week goes, do what I can to choose colors, layouts, embellishments, and write any journalling that the photos or process inspire.
January 27 & 28 – assemble the layouts.
~The following week I am going to leave the layouts out where I can see them and tweak as necessary.
February 3 – Photograph layouts assemble the mailing package.
February 5 – Send package overnight with delivery confirmation
