I cut my first piece this morning 10 months ago

Actually it was two pieces that were each supposed to be 3.5×6.5 which I tried to obtain by first making a 3.5×13 piece and then cutting it in half. My halves didn’t come out even. I think it was because I had one half tauter than the other due to the pressure of the cutting guide. So I have room for improvement and that is okay.
