I’m not sure if my man, my love, my soulmate wants marriage or not. I only know that the more I think about it, the more it’s a beautiful commitment and a way of expressing what you want from the relationship.
He’s mentioned “growing old together” and spending his life with me, but never anything specifically about marriage. His parents (as well as mine) are divorced, and I suppose he has a cynical view of the subject. Can I change his mind, or will I only hurt him by pressing the issue? If it’s really not what he wants, I’m willing to sacrifice it in order to keep him in my life.
