Learn a martial art

Camouflage is not a typical belt received in karate, but the school I attend is a mixed-martial arts (MMA). So, they do things a little different. It doesn’t really matter to me. I just know I’m at step 5 of 12 on the road to my black belt.

Hey! I did it! I’ve been wanting to learn a martial art for a very long time and now I am. It’s really a lot of fun and good exercise for me, too! C’mon and try it if you’ve been saying to yourself, “Hey I wanna try that.”

I’ll be testing for my first ‘testable’ belt, my yellow belt, on 27Jun2005. My first actual belt, white, was a ‘gimme’ just for showing up 3 times in a row. But ‘just showing up’ was a big deal for me!

I’ll register for karate on Saturday May 7, 2005 once I get back into town.
