well recently I’ve lost weight by not snacking. I’ve realised if I keep my life busy, and Im always doing something, my mind is not constantly on food. I’v also really been working on no snacking and so on and I really feel like i’ve started to have some kind of control over my crazy eating! As a result i’ve lost about half a stone which i’m so chuffed about. I have however been slacking on the excercise so i’m sure when I motivate myself to do some, I can go the whole way!:D

Well now i’ve become vegetarian you would think it would be easier to lose weight, but I think i’m going to need to be careful. It’s easy to just eat cheese for protein, and lots of carbs which will of course lead to weight gain, and as it’s so important to eat protein with carbs (to avoid the sugar rush effect, particularly if they’re refined..which I know I shouldn’t be eating anyway, but that’s another story..) I really need to research other ways of getting protein. Im not really a lentil lover but i’ve been giving them a go. Tried mung beans the other day, and failed miserably :(. What I don’t want is to only have boring or bland food. Im such a food person, and I would always choose to make it fresh, at home, properly, and have it taste fabulous anyday. So I really need some tasty, healthy, vegetarian recipes. Not asking for much then! Any ideas let me know…:)
well my major downfall is snacking, particularly at night or if i have lots of work to do, i use it as a distraction which i know is really bad. Having been on holiday for a month at xmas, and in someone’s house where it was impolite to snack, I lost over half a stone simply from not snacking. I was in fact eating things that were much more unhealthy than normal (i’m healthy food freak) but the awful chocolate, nuts and raisins habit was completely stopped and I did hardly any excercise. So..Currently I have been making quite an effort not to snack as much, and with working on my feet (part-time shop assistant) more these past two weeks, i’v actually lost 1lb – Hurrah!
