I’m not a pro, but I can do a few laps.
I’m not a pro, but I can do a few laps.
In class today we played some Water Polo. I run, sport climb, lift weights, and snowboard.
Water Polo was hands down the most difficult sport I’ve ever played in my life. Kudos to anyone who does it. I can barely stay on the playing field. I’m the guy who clings on to the gutter yelling “Don’t give me the ball, I don’t want it!”.

First day of my Intermediate Swimming course.
It was tough, I’m not going to lie. We were all supposed to tread. I was good for few minutes but after a bit, I had to swim over to the gutter :/ How embarrassing.
I kept up okay with the strokes though! Sweet! I may be the one of the worst swimmers in the course but what better way to get learn something than to surround yourself with people who are better than you?
I’m registered for the course!
Butterfly, here I come.

I got new Goggles!!
They’re $22; they better not fog up like my old ones :)
I went swimming this morning and to tell you the truth I feel like I’m doing something wrong. I hope it’s just my lack of endurance. I run a minimum of two miles daily but can barely do two laps in the pool. What’s wrong with me?
Should I go learn how to swim “properly”? I’ve taking a year worth of lessons at school already. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!
I continued with a Beginner’s Swimming Course and it was great. I don’t think I can swim the Hudson, but I’m comfortable in the pool. The Butterfly is impossible! I can’t shake my hips anymore!
I took a non-swimmer’s swimming course at the school I go to. I’m not a pro, but I definitely had a great time and learned a little bit. I can tread and dive a little bit, but I’m still not completely comfortable in deep water. Next semester, I’m enrolled in the beginner’s swimming class and then maybe I’ll be able to say that I’ve learned how to swim.
