Not much left to go

Hopefully my old Adobe software is worth SOMETHING

Realized a lot of my "crap" wasn't worth as much as I'd hoped...

PowerMac G5—would have been nice to get a few hundred for it, but it wound up being worth about $50. Given how bulky it was, it just wasn’t worth it. Same thing for my old Nakamichi stereo equipment. Was really nice at one point, but not so much now. So instead of continuing to procrastinate on getting it up for sale on ebay, I just donated all of it. At least I’m moving on this one again.

More stuff up this week

Added the two broken laptops, their batteries and power supplies (all separately). Actually, I’ve still got one of the laptops—it needs to go up tomorrow. I think I’ve got more auctions going right now than I ever have… except maybe when I got rid of my hard drives… Had a lot of those. :)

More stuff than I remembered

So I thought I was close to being done with this, maybe another week or two. I’ve got the last of my computer components up for sale, but I’d forgotten about two broken laptops (they’ll go up tonight), some old Nakamichi stereo equipment, an old PowerMac, and a bunch of old software (and a few other things I’ll unearth, I’m sure). Not to mention the stuff I’ve realized won’t sell—I assembled an almost complete computer out of parts I couldn’t get rid of on eBay, so it’s going to Deseret Industries. In fact, there’s a bunch of stuff I couldn’t sell that’s getting donated. Oh well—at least it won’t be in my apartment any more.

Untitled

Well, the processor didn’t sell—A scammer tried to get it, and PayPal & eBay shut them down. It’s going back up for bid this week.

I skipped putting anything up last week—just decided to take a break.

This week, I’m going to be putting up:

. A Socket 1156 motherboard
. A Core i5 processor
. An older 5 port ethernet hub I don’t really need any more
. A video card
. A Seasonic power supply.

After that, I’ve got two old laptops, and a bunch of old mac software to get rid of.

So nice to get rid of all this stuff. I can actually see the top of my coffee table again. :)

Up this week...

The last of my tech crap. An old processor, motherboard, video card, and RAID card. And my watch… Which has already got bids for $7.50 (I expect it’ll go for over $200, which will be nice!)

This may have gotten a lot harder

Since starting a new job, I’m not sure if I’ve got the time to do this now… I could be challenging to get stuff to UPS/USPS in a timely manner. I guess we’ll have to see how things work out this week.

Another 6 up

Since I had an interview I had to get to today, I had to interrupt posting stuff. I did get a half dozen things up though, so that’s something, at least.

It’ll be nice to be rid of all this extra stuff. I feel like I’m camping out in my apartment, and not really living here, because of my clutter. Be nice to get rid of it, and get a bit of cash to boot.

This one is well under way...

Sold about a dozen old pieces of computers—mostly hard drives. Managed to make a couple hundred bucks. Now I’ve got some bigger parts—processors, motherboards, video cards, a couple of power supplies. I’ve got it all piled up on my coffee table, ready to go—just need to do the listings. Starting to see a difference in my apartment—a lot less clutter.

Can’t wait to be done with this one.
