FINALY.

This is about two months later than I originally planned, but at least I made it. Finally under 230 pounds—229.8 when I stepped on the scale this afternoon.

Hopefully the next ten will drop off quicker… Looking forward to crossing “lose 30 pounds” off the list, too! I’m planning on running the Pat Tillman run on April 21, and it would be a lot easier if I was under 210 by then.

How do you lose 20 unique pounds?

Unique up on them. HA! 232.2 today. 2.2 more to go. Hoping to cross this one off the list this week…

Spinning wheels...

As usual, weekends are my weakness. I’m about 234 now—about what I was two weeks ago. Getting up early on Saturday and going for a 3-4 hour hike… another 1-2 hour hike on Sunday. Maybe it’ll help if I plan out my meals for the weekend in advance, but I don’t have much time to get that done.

And Superbowl weekend damage is...

About a pound and a half—235.2 this morning. I’ll have this gone in a day or two. Still on track to finish this by 2/20, or earlier (hopefully earlier—“lose 30 pounds” is calling my name!)

Changing the rules a bit...

I was going to start counting at 240, since that was my starting weight when I first added this goal… But since I actually topped out at 250 this past December 1, I’m going to use that as the starting point. Right now I’m 233.8. Depending on how much damage I do at a Superbowl party this weekend, I should be able to drop under 230 in the next week or two.

Yuck

Slid backwards over the past several months… Now back to about 240, which was my starting point. So far I’m down to about 237 over the past couple of weeks, so I’m off to a start on this one.

I MADE IT!!!

Stepped on the scale after my workout, and I weighed 223.2… 20.4 pounds lighter than I weighed on 3/7 (I was 243.6 on march 7, for those keeping track).

Next up is 30 pounds, and at this rate I’ll mark that one off in probably two weeks. Feels good to be on a roll.

Could today be the day?

Stepped on the scale this morning, and I’m 224.6. 1.6 from my goal. I usually weigh myself in the afternoon, after my workout, and I’m often a pound or more lighter than I weigh in the morning. Today might just be the day I finally mark this as done… Then onwards to 30 pounds.

Blech...

Back up to 226.4 yesterday. Going slow—probably not going to be back at 224 tonight, but one can hope. Still hoping to lose 10 pounds in April… Fingers crossed

This is within grasp...

I started at 243 on March 7th, now on April 16th I’m 224.2. This is SOOO close. I expect that I’ll wind up bouncing back a bit tomorrow—I just weighed myself after a 2 hour run/walk. Burned almost 1700 calories, so that’s about half a pound gone for good right there.

If I stick to this, I should be under 223 by Tuesday… Hopefully earlier. Then, next up—shed another 10 so I can mark off “Lose 30 pounds” too!
