I bought a nice Rolodex setup and have been gathering all my floating post-its and business cards into that. It’s kind of an ongoing thing. I would love for it to be digital somehow, but have not found a format that I trust to take care of it now and in the future. (I rean in to the same concern with organizing my music. itunes was not around when I set that goal years ago. I had to wait for a better tool.)
I also have a MySpace page, which I infrequently use. But it does help me stay connected with more people than before. I am not taking this off my list, but I do feel there is progress.

I have an Orkut account and a Friendster account. The Friendster account feels pretty useless right now. I blog elsewhere and most of the people I am connected to there I either do not know or never see anymore (college connections).
The Orkut sounds very interesting. I would like to find a sogtware solution that lets me enter my own stuff and maintain my own connections, importing from online communities, perhaps. I want to weed out the crap and see my own network with the ability to add additional information about people as I gather it personally (birthdays, anniversaries, favorite music, etc).
