Taken while running a half marathon on October 14th. The only thing missing to make the day magical was a blue sky.

At the end of the day on Varadero Beach, I had an encounter of the crab-kind. I don’t know which one of us was the more astonished. He moved like lightning along the sand, sideways of course.
Just returned from a fantastic holiday in Cuba. One of the many highlights was a trip to Havana. The national hero, Che Guevara is a face you see EVERYWHERE. Here is his largest tribute in Revolution Square.
Walking through the enchantingly picturesque village of Osmington in Dorset, I noticed this curious statue adorning the roof of one particular dwelling.
One of my pupils brought in her new pets… three baby ferrets! They were incredibly cute but incredibly smelly.
Dreaming of a past on the ocean waves. Memories, like waves, ebb and flow with the tides and seasons.
One of my favourite places on the planet. According to legend Carreg Bica, the exposed rock to the left of the photo, is the tooth of the giant Bica who lived in Cardiganshire, and who was forced to spit his tooth onto the beach following a bad toothache. In reality, the rock is a stack of Ordavician rock weathered by the sea.
At high tide Bica resembles a shark’s dorsal fin. Or maybe a dolphin’s. They are frequently seen along the Ceredigion coastline. Now that’s a goal of mine. To photograph a dolphin in the wild.
