promote freedom and democracy in South East Asia, especially Burma and Singapore

I used this Abbie Hoffman quote in a different thread but I’ll add it here as it really does equate to my feelings on the matter:

“You measure a democracy by the freedom it gives its dissidents, not the freedom it gives its assimilated conformists.”

The Junta in Burma needs to go for obvious reasons, they are nothing but evil men.

Singapore should be the guiding light of Asia, with an educated poputlation and high standard of living they should be leading the way in the move towards democracy, not just handing power down to the next in line.
