learn more languages

Yep, been picking up conversational Mandarin for some weeks since. :)
Been good so far – although perhaps, at this point, I still feel more confident in singing in my primitive French than I would it Mandarin, hehe.
It’ll take time, but I’ll get there :)

Thinking of picking up an(other) Indian language this time.

I already speak & love Tamil, so been seriously considering learning the basics of another S.Indian language for now, (inspired by the songs of an uber-cool musician I stumbled upon very recently), hmmm… :)

Thoroughly enjoyed learning the very basics of this beautiful language!
We had such fun in class, although it was just the Level 1 Module, and grew very quickly to love the nuances & quirks of the language.

Couldn’t continue on to Level 2 for now, but am keeping my ♥ for it alive, in my own personal (and secret! hush..) way by learning & memorising the lyrics of fave French songs, yippee!
And of course, singing it to dearer friends too, heee..♥French!

Started learning French early this year.. Have grown to love our Saturday classes (we’ve an awesome teacher & class!!), where i get to be my zany self, getting amazed all over again at our learning through all the puzzlement, mistakes and discoveries♥♥

With all its melancholy of change, this day brings with it the closure of this particular beautiful (& secret!) adventure of mine.

Still thinking of whether I should continue on to Module 2, this April.

Love world languages and literatures from the blessed varsity days. Am effectively bilingual in English and Tamil, by dint of my country’s language laws.
And at this point, I can understand basic Mandarin and Malay.

Would love to learn foreign languages, in the years to come. :)
Learnt a wee bit of basic German back in sec. school (ie.high school), and can remember the numbers and songs until this day. (Am intending to polish up on that soon)

Plans for the immediate future: basic French! Wish me luck. :)

Realised I need to be more specific about this goal. Yep, will get to that soon! :)
