see a lunar eclipse

Last one until December, 2010! I am so excited that I was able to see it. Photographing it was tough without a tripod, but I got a few shots as it was progressing. Our bitter cold but clear night was perfect for visibility, even in town.

The moon was a lovely shade of orange with a bright white rim right before the total eclipse began. I think that was my favorite point.
