I paid off my car with my economic stimulus check. I feel pretty good because I closed that loan in less than six months. I still have one credit card and the scary awful student loans to worry about, but the simplification really helps.
I’m also throwing money in savings so I can have the freedom to move next year when I graduate. Cross-country moves are shockingly expensive.

I’m down to one credit card, student loans and a car payment. I’m paying off my car with my tax refunds and then I’ll be able to focus on the one last card and the student loans. The goal is to have the credit card paid off within a year and the student loans five years after that. It’s such a relief to simplify my debt!
