be independant

i was almost good with this one . . . until i had a car accident and needed to borrow funds from my parents to fix the other person’s car. the prang was my fault, and my insurance excess is nearly as much as it will cost to fix the car, so it’s not worth claiming.
must work on saving money ‘for a rainy day’ (it was raining that day; i skidded on the wet road and ran into the back of them).
the car is the last big thing tying me to my parents; it’s registered in dad’s name (though i pay it) because it’d cost more to be in mine, and the insurance is technically in his name as well (ditto the cost).

almost completely financially independent since acquiring a full-time job. paying $75 board p/w, saving money.
slowly ambling towards moving out of home.
