I ran again this morning. Only made it about a mile, but I did it. I’m going to be realistic: The 5K I had planned next weekend is not going to happen. Which is good, because I haven’t sent the registration fee in yet. Hopefully I’ll get back into it, but I have to take it easy because I injured my left foot again. It’s about 95% now, so hopefully I can get back to 5K shape.

Moving always throws a wrench into things. I have run 3 times since we moved on the 7th of June. I’m going to try switching to evenings and just run a mile every day, maybe a mile and a half if I’m feeling particularly good. I do have another 5K now coming up on Labor Day, so I still feel like I can get back in the habit.
