still not perfect

but i have gotten into a solid routine. and it does look and feel a lot better. so i will count this one as done. yay!



getting there

i have completely changed my diet this past month. what a positive impact on my skin. i did the wild rose detox, reducing my intake of dairy, sugar, wheat, and carbs, a lot of which i have decided to continue. i also take lots of omega 3-6-9 and a daily vitamin. no fast food. no overly processed food. it feels so much better.

I am using cetaphil to cleanse and moisturize, morning and night, a good routine. it seems to me that simplicity is the best way to go.

nonetheless, i would still like to find a good toner, and perhaps a gentle moisturizer with sunscreen.



detox?

I’m thinking about trying a detox, but it seems there are so many options out there.

Any advice? Good experiences? Bad experiences?

seems I always have some sort of skin issue. Excema, dry skin, oily skin, large pores, rashes… I was born with a spot of excema in my ear. That was the first sign.

My wish is to beat this naturally. I have cream for excema from the doctor (it got really bad last year, but is ok now, just a few spots here and there), but I want to get to the root of this.

Here are some ideas:
Changing my diet, getting tested for food allergies, seeing a naturopath, keeping my apartment cleaner and dust free, setting a routine to cleanse and moisturize on a daily basis (I use Cetaphil or Dove), finding the perfect facial product line, reducing the stress factor…
