I slept in the open (under a tarp) in June, but it was a cloudy night. So I don’t think it qualifies.

Didn't happen yet 17 months ago

I planned this for last weekend, but then it was very cold outside on the clear nights (and I didn’t want to get sick) and the one night that was a bit warmer was cloudy, of course.
I don’t much mind, there are many summer nights left to do this.

it’s a long weekend in Germany and I’m going to go on a scouts camp. If the weather’s fine, there should be plenty of opportunity to do this once again.
I remember sleeping under the stars when I was 13 or 14… the milky way was gorgeous and every once in a while I could see a falling star. Definitely one of the most beautiful experiences I had in nature.
