I haven’t been there for a while, but have discovered some good music with the intimate feel of self-recording on that site.

So here goes… after one couchsurfing experience I’m already quite convinced that this community is absolutely worth joining. Couchsurfers will tell you that it positively changed their lives.

It’s great and at least one of those names will reveal a terrible truth about yourself, I promise. I had a hilarious anagramming-evening with my family and we laughed our heads off, because of those quirky and unexpectedly truth-revealing names.

Great open source website for learning Korean. Many useful Youtube videos and exercises. I like the teaching style – forthright, logical and repetitive for easier memorisation – and think it’s great that people are willing to share their knowledge for free even though it means work for them.

The reviews and recommendations on Qype have helped me find some pretty nice restaurants and cafés.

The International Music Score Library Project has lots of free sheet music.

A knitting blog I like. She makes some really cool clothes. I guess looking at other people’s knitting is a great substitute for knitting myself. Much cheaper and less time consuming :D Not to mention that it looks a thousand times better than anything I could manage to knit.

did you ever wonder what you might have looked like in the 50s, 60s or 70s? This site tells you . It’s so hilarious.

A rather hilarious site. It has songs with very weird lyrics and horrible flash animations featuring strange animals. Also, there’s a wonderful serial called “Tales of the Blode”, about a cephalopod and his adventures. Some of the stuff is too sick even for me to enjoy, but some is just great.

I like watching Asian movies and TV series and MySoju has quite a large selection of them. For free, with English subtitles, in acceptable quality and highly addictive.
