it seems impossible for me to do all the required reading for a whole semester. Most of the time I only read a part of the texts or scan them for the important points. I’m too lazy and impatient to read texts that aren’t amazingly interesting more carefully. What should I do with this goal? Try again next semester, I guess…

I have read a lot this semester, I can’t say I’ve done all the required reading (I have done some non-required reading to make up for it). I’ve never managed to do that so far (when you’re studying literature, it’s not possible to ever read enough). It hasn’t done me any harm, yet. :)
I’ll keep this goal for next semester, though. Maybe I’ll be able to do all the required reading one day…

I’ll have to do lots of reading in the holidays as well, to prepare for the next semester… I’ve already been celebrating the start of the holidays by reading a pretty long novel…
