Going for $2k

I have already saved $1000, but I wanted to get myself a cushion. So, I’m targeting $2000. I’m currently $716.27 away from achieving that end.

Still moving

I didn’t get as much momentum as I would have preferred when I got my stimulus check. I was hoping to add my tax refund to my stimulus check to put me over the top, but I had a little accident and had to the to dip into the emergency fund a little early :(. Thank God I got my checks when I did… But I’m still pressing on and am less than $350 away from marking this one done.

Well on my way...

I used to be really great about saving, but I took a hit almost 2 years ago and never recovered, but I’ve made it one of priorities for this quarter to get my savings account rebuilt. Thanks to my refund check and my trusty economic stimulus check I’m well on my way. I do have to take a hunk of it pay a couple of bills, but at least that won’t empty out my account like it would have a month ago.
