Woo hoo! I finally paid off my car this month. It feels great knowing I have that cash freed up now, even though I plan to roll it over into paying some other debts. Hindsight really is 20/20. I realized that if I had been making payments like I had these past few months all along I could have paid off my car much sooner and saved a ton of interest. Oh well, lesson learned. But I’m glad I got this one marked off the list…now on to the next.

My financial plan for 2009 includes as step 1 paying down my debt. This year I plan to pay off my car and 1 credit card by the September. We’ll see how far I get :)

Mini-goal on my way to going all Dave Ramesy :) 22 months ago

I have a major goal of going all Dave Ramesy and of course part of the Dave Ramesy Total Money Makeover is to be debt-free. So here goes…The first debt I have to payoff is a medical bill $94.50…I hope to get it paid by the end of this month.
